Voices of those
who have experienced standing naps

This is the first time I`ve seen a product like this. I tried the “SPACIA,” and it creates such a relaxing environment so easily that I just drift off to sleep. Just looking at it and actually trying it out made a huge difference in my impression.

I never thought I could actually sleep in it until I tried it, but since it puts so little strain on your body, I realized I might actually be able to sleep in it. If there`s space at the office, I`d love to have one there.

I wondered if I could really sleep in a place like this, or if there was any point in sleeping standing up. But when I actually sat down, there wasn`t a single spot that felt uncomfortable. I thought I could probably sleep if I were really exhausted. Plus, there was a spot to put my laptop, so I figured I could probably work remotely too.

Can you actually take a nap in there? I`d never even considered sleeping while standing up, so I was really intrigued. I tried going inside, but even though I wanted to sleep, I just couldn`t help feeling excited and couldn`t seem to doze off. Maybe if I stayed in there for about ten minutes, I could take a nap. I wish they`d put one in my office.

The idea of creating a nap space in this size is impressive, but what truly amazed me was how it achieves a perfect balance that doesn`t strain the body—in fact, it enables a healthy napping posture. I was also impressed that it can be used as a private booth for Zoom meetings during non-daytime hours.

I`ve seen them installed in cafes. They`re those boxes for napping while standing, right? I didn`t know you could customize them to your size when you try them. They`re more comfortable than I expected.

The idea of taking a nap while standing is pretty interesting. Looking at the photo, I thought the posture might be uncomfortable, but my knees were stable and it was easier than I expected.

Back in high school, I often took naps with my head on my desk. I never imagined I`d end up in a similar position in an office nap pod! While the SPACIA is indeed highly light-blocking and calming, I was surprised by how much sound actually gets in compared to what you’d expect from its appearance.

From the outside, I thought it looked like it would put strain on various parts of the body, but that wasn`t the case at all. Maybe the knee cushioning is good? Even though I was standing, I didn`t feel like I was standing, which was a very strange sensation.

I`ve heard a lot about power naps, but I always thought they depend heavily on the sleeping environment. So I figured there`d be demand for private rooms where you can actually sleep, rather than just using tables in break rooms. But since only one person can fit in each room, you`d have to increase the number based on the number of employees, or else it`d turn into a scramble.

It looked interesting, so I decided to try it out. The “SPACIA” feels a bit snug, which is actually nice because it seems calming for sleeping. Since I`m not the type who likes sleeping in complete darkness, I appreciated how easy it was to adjust things like keeping it slightly lit using the remote.

I learned that a high-quality nap of about 20 minutes is sufficient for refreshing your mind and body when exhausted from work, housework, or childcare, and for restoring concentration and energy.

Female, 30s

Even though I was practically standing, I felt more relaxed than I ever imagined. It was such a comfortable space that if it were soundproof, I could probably even get some sleep.

Male, 30s

I was skeptical about whether I could sleep while standing, but I think it`s perfectly possible to get a good night`s sleep. My feet and knees, which bear my weight, felt comfortable too.

Male, 30s

It was a pleasant experience that really refreshed my body after walking around since morning. I thought it would be a wonderful facility to have at outdoor festivals or large event venues.

Female, 50s

It felt incredibly good. When I lie down, I feel groggy when I get up, but standing sleep felt refreshing.

Female, 40s

The weight was evenly distributed across my knees, hips, and both arms, and it felt incredibly comfortable just to touch. I found myself wishing my office`s Zoom booth could be replaced with this.

Female, 40s

I`m looking forward to being able to relax and head home right after experiencing it during breaks at work or after leisure activities!

The “Health Chair” has evolved into a semi-seated, semi-standing posture that provides solid soundproofing and light blocking. With its minimal space per person, it felt like a valuable “short break spot” within the venue.

Male, 50s

Even a short nap proved more refreshing than expected, giving me the energy to enjoy the venue until closing time. I recommend it to anyone interested in design and space-saving features, or visitors planning extended stays. I look forward to further advancements in adjustment mechanisms and the expansion of the nap device market.
